We're excited to announce the latest sbt release.  Please go to the new documentation site for details on how to install this latest version. This is the latest release in the sbt 0.12 series, which is binary compatible with the previous sbt 0.12.0 and allows upgrading without upgrading plugins or settings. This release includes the following fixes/features:

General improvements to incremental compilation:

  • With 0.12.1, general incremental compilation should be faster. This is but one step of many towards better builds.

Improved caching and cache documentation:

  • Please read the new Dependency Management Flow document for details on how you can improve your experience with sbt’s caching and dependency management in Ivy.

Fixes to forking tests.

Enjoy the latest release and provide any feedback to: simple-build-tool@googlegroups.com
