It feels like Scala Days 2013 was just yesterday, but we're already busy planning for next year! The Scala Days committee is happy to announce that the 5th annual Scala Days 2014 will be held at the Kosmos Berlin on June 16th through 18th. Now is the time to submit sessions and reserve the date on your calendar!

Scala Days 2014 will bring together developers from all corners of the world to share their experiences and new ideas around creating applications with Scala, Akka and Play Framework. Scala Days provides a unique opportunity for Scala users to interact with the key contributors to the language and related technologies. This year’s keynote will be led by Martin Odersky, and featured speakers include Jonas Bonér and Viktor Klang.

The call for papers is now open and will close on January 17, 2014. We’re looking for creative ideas from you, so submit any topics you think the community would find exciting, inspiring, thought provoking, and interesting!

You can submit your proposal here, and please check ScalaDays.org for updates and announcements.
