SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2015) - Typesafe, provider of the world's leading Reactive platform and the company behind Play Framework, Akka, and Scala, today confirmed the keynote speakers for Scala Days 2015 to be held March 16-18 at Fort Mason in San Francisco:
Scala Days 2014 in Berlin was sold out with more than 800 attendees so conference organizers added two events this year -- San Francisco in March 2015 and a Europe-based conference in Amsterdam to be held June 8-10, 2015.
"This is the largest gathering of developers, architects, and computer science visionaries interested in delivering reactive software," said Martin Odersky. "Scala Days is a truly unique opportunity to meet and learn from the leaders in the Scala ecosystem and network with everyone from prospective new hires, to the Scala compiler team. We have a great lineup of mind-bending speakers, and participants from many different industries. Outside of our four main tracks, there will be plenty of time to network with brilliant people, get inspired by sharing ideas, and enjoy most excellent food and drink."
Scala Days 2015 San Francisco offers four tracks of panel and speaker sessions, ranging from beginner and intermediate to advanced talks to suit any level of expertise. In addition to the keynote sessions, there will be industry speakers from a wide range of companies, including Databricks, Dropbox, EPFL, Goldman Sachs, Hootsuite, JetBrains, Mentor Graphics, Mesosphere, Nest Labs, Netflix, Nitro, Oracle, PayPal, Salesforce, Typesafe, UCSF, Verizon, Wix and Workday.
Four of the conference's six training programs are already sold out. Register now to participate in the remaining two: "Fast Track to Scala" or "Fast Track to Play with Scala."
