Kip Sigman, one of our awesome trainers at Typesafe, hosts a short webcast on writing unit and integration tests for Scala applications. He starts with a quick review of some of the basic concepts of software testing, then dives deeper to testing in Scala, reviewing the main frameworks, including JUnit/TestNG, ScalaTest, Specs2, and ScalaCheck.

To learn more, download Typesafe Activator. There’s a wide variety of templates and most of them contain test examples. There is also a template called Scala Testing which contains the samples used in the webcast and more.
